Santa Cruz was founded in 1973 by Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman. Their headquarters is in Santa Cruz California. Their most famous graphic is the Screaming Hand, that was designed by Jim Phillips. Jim Phillips also designed some of the most iconic and recognisable skateboard graphics of the 80's and early 90’s.
